Radar Collision Avoidance Training Course

The single most important reason to do radar plotting for collision avoidance is to determine if the target is on a collision course with your vessel. This four-hour classroom course will cover:

  • Radar collision avoidance plotting
  • Determining the course and speed of an approaching vessel
  • Estimating the time and distance a vessel will pass
  • The appropriate action to take according to the Rules of The Road
